Noemi Di Gregorio

Dance, choreography, dance classes, figure skating

Hello!

 

I am Noemi Di Gregorio and I love dance, figure skating and all other ways that allow humans to express themselves physically.

​

Dance and figure skating brought me to many different places around the world.

​

I lived in New York City for many years and worked as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. I was a company member of Spark Movement Collective, a contemporary dance company. I danced for other choreographers and created own pieces.

​

As part of the group Art on Ice skaters I performed in Art on Ice shows and made it to ice rinks as distant as China.​​​​​

​

Now Switzerland is my home base again. I teach contemporary dance and Pilates, I choreograph and from time to time I perform on stage.

​

My newest passion is teaching creative dance to litte kids and open classes for adults in Rapperswil-Jona.

Contemporary skating focuses on creativity, performance skills, musicality, authenticity, movement quality, and the exploration of new moves.
It provides a counterpoint to regular ice skating training, where jumps and pirouettes are the main focus .
